Timemoz integrates with the tools your team already uses — and we are committed to doing so without storing your user data.

Timemoz does not store user data from connected applications.
When you connect Timemoz to a third-party application, we access only the metadata required to link your tracked time to the relevant projects, issues, or tasks. Personal information about users in those applications — names, emails, comments, attachments, or message content — is never written to our database.
You remain the owner of your data. Disconnect at any time, and the access token is revoked immediately.
How We Handle Integration Data
Four principles guide every integration we build.
We Do Not Store Your User Data
Timemoz does not retain personally identifiable user data from third-party applications. Information accessed through integrations is processed in transit only and is never persisted in our databases.
Read-Only by Default
Our integrations request the minimum scopes needed. We read project, task, and issue metadata to associate it with tracked time — we do not modify or delete records on your behalf unless you explicitly authorize it.
Tokens, Not Credentials
We use OAuth 2.0 wherever supported. Your username and password for connected apps are never seen by Timemoz. Access tokens are encrypted at rest and can be revoked at any time from your account settings.
Transparent Scope
Before any integration is enabled, you will be shown the exact permissions Timemoz is requesting. We never request scopes we do not need.

Jira Integration & Privacy
The Timemoz Jira integration is designed so that your team can track time against Jira issues without exposing Jira data to long-term storage on our servers. Below is exactly what happens when you connect a Jira workspace.
What Timemoz accesses from Jira
- Issue keys, summaries, and project keys — used only to let you select an issue when starting a timer.
- Project names — to display them in the Timemoz selector.
- Your Jira account ID — to associate worklogs you create with the correct Jira user.
What Timemoz does NOT store
- We do not store Jira user data. Names, email addresses, and avatars of Jira users are not written to our database.
- We do not store issue descriptions, comments, or attachments.
- We do not store custom field values, sprint history, or backlog data.
- Issue metadata fetched while you browse the integration is held in transit and discarded after the request completes.
What we write back to Jira
- When you stop a timer linked to a Jira issue, Timemoz can post a worklog to that issue on your behalf — only if you have enabled this option.
- The worklog contains the duration and an optional comment that you provide. Nothing else.
Authentication
Authentication uses Atlassian OAuth 2.0 (3LO). Timemoz receives a short-lived access token and a refresh token, both encrypted at rest. You can revoke access at any time from your Atlassian account settings or from Timemoz → Settings → Integrations.

read:jira-work— to list projects and issues you can select.write:jira-work— only requested if you opt in to worklog sync.read:me— to identify your Jira account ID for worklog attribution.
What Timemoz Does Store
To provide our service, Timemoz stores the following information directly created within Timemoz:
- Your Timemoz account information (name, email, password hash, organization).
- Time entries you create, including start and end times, optional notes, and the project or task you linked them to.
- Productivity data captured by the Timemoz desktop or web apps that you have installed and authorized — for example, activity levels and screenshots, when these features are enabled by your administrator.
- Encrypted refresh and access tokens for any third-party integrations you enable.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.
Your Rights
Access
Request a copy of all data Timemoz holds about you.
Deletion
Request that we permanently delete your account and associated data.
Correction
Update any information that is inaccurate or out of date.
Revoke Integrations
Disconnect any third-party integration at any time. Tokens are deleted immediately.
